Turki Alalshikh, a name you’ve been hearing a lot if you follow big-money fights, just linked up with TKO Group Holdings (yes, the same TKO that owns WWE and UFC) and Sela, a Saudi-backed sports and entertainment powerhouse. This isn’t some rinky-dink startup. TKO runs combat sports like a well-oiled machine. These are the guys who turned UFC into a money-printing empire, and now they’re taking their playbook into boxing. Add Sela into the mix—who has already been behind some massive fights, including Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov and Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois at Wembley—and you’ve got a recipe for some serious disruption. This is a huge move, can’t wait to see what they do.
