While appearing at a Jordan Brand store in Shanghai, the Celtics star took part in an interactive shooting segment and missed 10 consecutive free throws.
Naturally, the internet had fun with it.
Fans at the event recorded the streak as the misses piled up, and at one point, an onlooker even offered to take Tatum’s place. Clips quickly circulated online, bringing plenty of jokes and memes from NBA fans.

There was some context. Chinese media noted that the event featured a temporary hoop setup and was held in a casual promotional environment — a long way from normal NBA game conditions.
