Miami entered halftime with a 17–13 lead, controlling the flow of the game even if the margin didn’t fully reflect it. The No. 4 Hurricanes held the ball for nearly 23 minutes, piling up 270 total yards and dictating tempo for most of the first half.

Carter Davis opened the scoring with a field goal before CharMar Brown powered in a touchdown on the ground. The biggest swing came late, when Carson Beck connected with Keelan Marion on a 52-yard strike, a reminder that Miami can stretch the field when needed.

Ole Miss stayed within striking distance despite limited possession. Kewan Lacy’s 73-yard touchdown run provided a sudden jolt, and Lucas Carneiro added multiple long field goals to keep the Rebels close. Miami has moved the ball more consistently, but defensive lapses have allowed Ole Miss to capitalize on its few opportunities.

Away from the action, Barstool Sports personalities including Mintzy and Danny Boy Cane added to the atmosphere, with crowd energy boosted by sideline moments and a FaceTime appearance from Lane Kiffin.

Miami will open the second half with possession, knowing the stakes are clear. Control the ball, limit explosive plays, and close out a game that puts a national title berth within reach.
