They’ve got closers on their team, seasoned players. I’m a huge fan of Cade Cunningham—what a fantastic player. But when your number two looks like Bojan Bogdanovic did, it’s a tough road in this league. I’ll say this, though: I watched the entire game, and the Detroit Pistons really brought it. Maybe they’re giving away $1 hotdogs and 1$ tickets because the crowd was unreal—surprising, to say the least. There were so many people there, it was shocking!
But let’s be real, nobody wants a record like this, and no player in that locker room wants their name etched in history this way. It’s a rough night for the Pistons. Monty Williams Tremendous coach, nothing but respect for him. It’s tough to see him go through this. But these guys, they’ve got to figure it out, they’ve got to find a way.
We have good core, we have a good foundation. We have these all these young players and we have flexibility so we have to not panic and do the right thing execute and have urgency.
So that’s our that’s our balance you know we have to thread the needle to create urgency create change, because we’re not where we need to be.
