This innovative program is designed to unite basketball enthusiasts, sneaker aficionados, and local communities in an unprecedented celebration of court prowess and cultural impact.
“The Clinic” marks an unprecedented partnership between Foot Locker, Nike, and Jordan Brand, offering an array of interactive experiences, extensive media coverage, live basketball clinics, engaging social media content, community gatherings, and more. It presents a unique opportunity for fans to engage directly with these renowned basketball brands, featuring exclusive interactions with Nike and Jordan’s athletes alongside Foot Locker’s iconic stripes. This initiative not only celebrates the essence of basketball performance and culture but also fosters connections among communities and basketball enthusiasts, inspiring the next generation both on and off the court.
The official launch of “The Clinic” will take place at Foot Locker’s immersive weekend activation during the NBA All-Star 2024 event in Indianapolis, serving as the inaugural installment of numerous exciting moments scheduled throughout the year. The weekend’s activities will showcase experiences tied to “The Clinic,” including appearances by Paolo Banchero and Victor Wembanyama.
Foot Locker’s introduction of “The Clinic” and its extensive presence during NBA All-Star 2024 highlight its continued investment in basketball initiatives. Building upon its multi-year partnership announced with the NBA in November 2023, Foot Locker has positioned itself as an official league marketing partner in the U.S., in addition to unveiling its year-round platform, “The Heart of Sneakers.”
The focal point of “The Clinic” activation will be the custom Home Court pop-up, offering an immersive experience that brings together the best of the basketball world. Attendees can expect engaging activities such as interactive LED half-court setups, daily basketball clinics, sneaker trials, customization stations, exclusive product releases, athlete appearances, and more.
In conjunction with “The Clinic,” Foot Locker will host various community events at its Home Court space and throughout Indianapolis during NBA All-Star 2024. These include the Skills & Drills Challenge with Nike and Victor Wembanyama, as well as the ‘Beat The Clock’ challenge with Jordan Brand and Paolo Banchero. Additionally, Foot Locker will partner with Nike and Prime Video to host an exclusive world premiere screening of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s documentary, “Giannis: The Marvelous Journey,” ahead of its official release on February 19th.
Complementing the programming under “The Clinic,” Foot Locker’s Home Court space will feature ongoing interactive events throughout the weekend, including the adidas “Believe That Challenge,” a PUMA and Cheetos pop-up, and a styling panel with Converse. Moreover, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a vast retail space offering new and exclusive products from Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, PUMA, Under Armour & Curry Brand, and more.
As an associate partner of the highly anticipated 2024 NBA HBCU Classic Presented by AT&T, featuring Winston-Salem State University and Virginia Union University during NBA All-Star, Foot Locker will contribute $25,000 to each school as part of its commitment to supporting educational institutions.
Located at 49 W Maryland Street within the Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis, Foot Locker’s Home Court space will be open to the public on Thursday, February 15th from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday, February 16th and Saturday, February 17th from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, and Sunday, February 19th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
