Colby Covington kicked off media day ahead of his Dec. 14 match against Buckley with a bang, coming out swinging at LeBron James. From the very start, Covington wasn’t holding back, unloading on the NBA star with unfiltered criticism.
First off, Colby wanted answers on the whole “Diddy party” nonsense. What exactly does LeBron mean when he says “no party like a Diddy party”? Colby was calling BS and asking how many of these Diddy parties LeBron has actually attended. Honestly, who even cares? But for Covington, it was clearly something that needed addressing.

Colby wasn’t buying the role model act either. He went straight after LeBron for pushing the whole defund the police narrative. In his eyes, that’s not exactly what America’s most patriotic people – our police – deserve. It didn’t sit well with him, and he made it clear.
Then came the personal attacks. Covington didn’t hold back, calling LeBron a “scumbag” and throwing in a bit of a jail-cell threat. His point? LeBron’s been out of touch and his social media antics just don’t sit right.
