The NBA’s first regular-season game in Germany delivered a memorable result, and the Orlando Magic made sure it didn’t go quietly.
Orlando erased a 20-point deficit to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 118–111 in front of 14,500 fans at a sold-out Uber Arena. What started as a showcase quickly turned into a statement comeback.

Anthony Black led the Magic with 21 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, punctuating the rally with a fourth-quarter fastbreak dunk over Jaren Jackson Jr. that instantly became one of the game’s defining moments. Paolo Banchero added 26 points, providing steady offense as Orlando methodically closed the gap and took control late.

Franz Wagner, returning from an ankle injury, gave the home crowd something to celebrate. The Berlin native hit timely shots down the stretch, helping stabilize the Magic during key possessions and energizing the arena.
Memphis was led by Jaren Jackson Jr.’s 30 points, but the Grizzlies struggled to close, falling to 17–23 on the season after letting a comfortable lead slip away.
