Jon Jones continues to grow, and not in a good way. Our boy Bones, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. This time, he’s facing two misdemeanors after a wild altercation with a drug testing agent. Yes, you read that right – Jon Jones versus the drug tester. And trust me, it’s a doozy.
🚨BREAKING🚨
Jon Jones has been charged with two misdemeanors related to a drug-testing agent's police report after visiting Jones’s residence on March 30th.
If convicted, he could face less than a year in jail and fines up to $1,500

According to public records on the New Mexico Courts website, Jones has been charged with assault and interference with communications. If convicted, Jon could be looking at less than a year behind bars and fines up to $500 for the assault charge, which is a petty misdemeanor. And let’s not forget the interference with communications charge, which could hit him with a $1000 fine. Classic Jon.
Now, here’s where it gets spicy. A local Albuquerque news outlet dropped a bombshell: the Albuquerque Police received a complaint from a UFC drug tester who was on duty to collect samples from our favorite troublemaker, Jon Jones. The tester alleges that Jon, in a state of intoxication, threatened to KILL him. Yeah, you heard that right. KILL. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill trash talk.
But wait, there’s more! Jones also allegedly snatched the tester’s phone during the altercation. So not only did Jon give the tester a verbal beatdown, but he also went full swiper no swiping on the poor guy’s phone. This incident reportedly took place last month, but the tester officially lodged a complaint on April 5, 2024. Better late than never, I guess.
The Albuquerque Police are currently investigating the incident, and as of now, there’s been radio silence from all parties involved. No statements from Jon, his camp, or the UFC. It’s all hush-hush, which only adds to the drama.
