Saturday’s episode of the Joe Budden Podcast took a left turn, and this time, it wasn’t about the music industry or Budden’s usual hot takes. Nope, this one was all about Halle Bailey and her ex, DDG. The viral breakup has been everywhere, and Budden’s had enough.

Budden didn’t hold back, either. He came out swinging, saying he didn’t even know what DDG does outside of being Halle’s guy. Seriously, what does DDG do? Stream, rap, post YouTube videos? Budden had the same question. Halle’s out here killing it with a career in both music and movies, and DDG… just exists?
Then, in true Budden fashion, he dropped the bomb: he’s glad they’re done so he doesn’t have to hear about DDG anymore. Cold? Sure. But was anyone really expecting a deep, emotional dive from Joe?
